Global Peace & Justice

To the work of global peace and justice faith communities bring networks that span from local community to international level, with pastoral insights that are often informed by work in acute situations of human suffering, and experience of navigating cultural diversity and multilayered identities. They also need to be challenged about the extent to which they are living out their values, notably in the treatment of minorities. Developing a better mutual understanding and mutual literacy between secular and religious human rights advocates will help create a climate more conducive to multilateral responses to the major challenges facing the whole of humanity.
