CTBI seeks to bring the vision of the Kingdom of God to questions around borders, belonging, movement and encounter of peoples. Through the Churches’ Refugee Network we provide a space for networking, sharing and collaboration about the churches’ response to issues of migration and asylum in the different political jurisdictions represented across our membership. We promote the Church of Sanctuary initiative as a practical, compassionate and faith-filled response from local churches to the needs of diverse communities.
Challenging Hostility with Hospitality: Sanctuary Sunday is marked at the end of Refugee Week and aims to promote the Church of Sanctuary programme.
