The work of Christian unity in the British-Irish context has deep roots and there is valuable learning to share from the experience of navigating the complex history of conflict and interdependence on these islands. We recognise the continuing need to strengthen and deepen these relationships for the challenges ahead, ensuring we make best possible use of the structures and resources available to engage more people across all levels of church and across the diversity of Christian denominations on these islands.
