Resources for Black History Month 2024

Below is a list of resources for Black History Month (BHM). While the list is by no means exhaustive, it does contain books, magazines and publications that will provide both the informed and uninitiated alike with a better understanding of BHM, and its significance on these shores.

Christian

  • Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI).
    CTBI’s resources for BHM provide a fulsome understanding of this annual celebration.
  • Baptist Union of Great Britain.
    The Baptist Union’s Visions of Colour resource contains material that can be used throughout the year, including Black History Month.
  • Keep the Faith.
    Keep the Faith magazine produces an annual Black History Month special which is available in October.
