Divine Designs: Between the Covers: Celebrating the 73 books of the Bible
Artists, graphic designers and illustrators from across the UK are invited to design the front covers of any of the 73 books of the Bible, to celebrate creativity and innovation, and promote a greater visual awareness and understanding of the Bible today.
The competition is from an ecumenical partnership between the Catholic Bishops’ Conference’s Biblical Apostolate: The God who Speaks, St John’s Waterloo and Art + Christianity.
Seven cash prizes will be offered, with an overall winner decided by a panel of judges.
A full colour catalogue of the 73 selected covers will be published, with an exhibition running from 10 February 2027 to 9 April 2027.
Those interested in taking part are encouraged to register their interest by 31 July 2026 at 5pm.
