This year’s Association of Interchurch Families (AIF) weekend will explore issues surrounding the handing on of our faith to future generations.
It takes place at The Hayes Conference Centre, Swanwick, Derbyshire from 21-22 October 2017.
During the weekend there is the opportunity to listen to and learn from other families as well as those working alongside young adults on their spiritual journey. The conference has also invited a number of young people (the next generation) who will share their stories and experiences of how their faith was formed.
The conference will consider the roles of schools, society, church and the family in faith development and ask: How do we hand on our faith? What are we handing on? How is it received by others?
It will also feature Rach Collins from the Student Christian Movement and Fr Dominic Robinson SJ, National Director of Landings, a programme for returning Catholics.
