Homeless Sunday is a chance for churches and Christian groups to join together to pray, reflect and plan practical action on homelessness, as well as provide ‘a united Christian voice to offer solidarity and be a prophetic voice for change’. It is organised by Housing Justice and Scottish Churches Housing Action.
Resources are available to help plan a sermon, homily, bible study or event, including a theological reflection and fact sheets on homelessness for England, Wales and Scotland.
You can also request a speaker for your Homeless Sunday service (although speakers are limited and dealt with on a first come first served basis).
Housing Justice is also requesting to be sent written reflections on what home means to you, or a video or picture with a short message on the same theme.
